About me
How I work
I am an attorney based in Nitra. I practise family, employment, civil and commercial law and prepare contracts, including land registry applications.
In every matter I start by reviewing the documents. Only then do I propose a course of action and explain the options, deadlines and related costs.
In family law this mostly means divorce, care of children, maintenance and spouses' property. In employment law, employment contracts, termination of employment and related disputes.
In civil and commercial law I deal with contracts, real estate, receivables and the disputes that arise from them.
I explain legal terms plainly and answer directly. I will tell you my fee in advance, before work begins.

What our cooperation rests on
Four principles I follow in every matter, whatever its size.
Confidentiality
I am bound to keep confidential everything I learn in the practice of law. This covers every message you send me.
Written fee agreement
I tell you my fee in advance and we agree it in writing. Before work begins you will know what it covers and what it will cost.
Clear explanation
I explain contracts and decisions in everyday language. I tell you what options you have, what the risks are and what signing entails.
Electronic communication
We can deal with most matters by email, phone and electronic signature. If a meeting in person would help, we arrange it in advance.

About me and working together
Who do I work for?
Individuals, sole traders and firms in family, employment, civil and commercial law. If a matter falls outside these areas, I will tell you at the outset.
Where can I verify that you are an attorney?
An attorney's registration can be verified in the list of attorneys kept by the Slovak Bar Association at sak.sk. Details of my qualification and insurance are also on this page.
In which language can we communicate?
In Slovak or English. Contracts and filings with Slovak authorities and courts are usually drawn up in Slovak, so I will also explain their content to you in English.
Can we meet in person?
Yes, in Nitra by prior arrangement. Many matters can also be handled remotely, by email, phone and electronic signature.
What if I need advice outside your areas of practice?
I will tell you that the matter goes beyond the areas I work in. I would rather say so at once than have you lose time and money.
